I had been following Shay on IG for quite a while. She posted about a three-month challenge ahead of Thanksgiving and I was tired of waiting around for results I wasn’t working for. Becoming her client has turned my life around. I know that sounds so cliche. But I am down 15 pounds in about 75 days. I feel lighter, but I also feel SO much happier. And I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge about what my body needs and more importantly, what it’s capable of.

I was extremely nervous to start this program, but after talking with Shay and laying out my macros it helped put me at ease. My first week was a struggle but Shay had given me so many resources to be successful that I feel unstoppable! What makes this program different from others is that Shay is always there to give tips and is sooo encouraging! Even when I have a bad day she’s right there to help me get back and track and stay accountable. I am ecstatic at the progress I have made in such a short amount of time!!

I am really enjoying this - it feels more authentic to eat this way because every other way I’ve tried I’ve always known my love for food and the social aspect of eating out would always challenge my nutrition goals- this truly feels sustainable and flexible which I love!

My weight kept rising, and I felt very stuck by not being able to ever lose the weight I continued to gain. I had heard of “counting macros”, but was clueless how to do it on my own. I came across Shay’s program, and was comforted by her knowledge and education in nutrition! (Plus we grew up in the same neighborhood) I finally committed to giving it a shot, not believing this would actually work for me. And HOLY COW, it actually works! (Sounds so cliche). Learning macros has been so freeing, and very eye opening. The ability to eat any food without restrictions, takes away the FOMO and allows me to still live life!! But yet learning how to properly weigh/measure my food, eat foods in moderation, be mindful of my habits, and just planning ahead of time has truly been the change! My body has responded SO good, and I’m finally feeling proud of the progress I’ve craved for so long! 10lbs gone, and no stopping now. This is most certainly a lifestyle that can be sustained lifelong.
